Looks different right? See??? Ok, maybe it’s not that different, but I had to upgrade the code behind this site. Nothing spectacular, and I don’t have any programming skills other than the almighty copy/paste shortcuts. I also downloaded this cool slideshow plugin that Eric showed me called PicLens. It makes viewing albums a lot more fun instead of having to go through each photo one at a time.
I’ve started working on the ideas that were given in the comments, so I’ll have those ready later this week. In the meantime, here are the sketches…
Eric suggested that I draw “two birds, one of them in pursuit of another,” but this isn’t my final sketch on that topic. I have another idea in mind and will probably work on that one this weekend.
My college roommate once had a hamster named Pistachio Macadamia. Cute little guy, but the thing I remember most about him was that he was fat. My roommate was telling about one time when he was studying, Pistachio was running hard in his wheel. He was in a glass aquarium instead of a cage, and the wheel he was running in wasn’t made for fat hamsters like him. So the thing would wobble when he ran fast enough. As my roommate’s studying, Pistachio’s Macadamia’s going crazy on the wheel. Right when he looks over, the hamster slips and ends up shooting out of the thing like a cannon headfirst into glass wall. [THUNK!] He was fine, but for a while he was a little stunned and dazed. Anyways, I don’t know why I didn’t draw a hamster with a concussion, and I don’t know what’s with the can of cola. Maybe it’s the caffeine that got him hopped up in the first place.
Alright, it’s late, I need to get to bed before I ramble a story about Pistachio Macadamia the Fat Concussioned Caffeinated Hamster. I had a couple thoughts on Puddles, but I’ll save that for tomorrow.
hey nice job! definitely not what I had in mind, but that’s what’s so cool about having creative freedom :)
What I meant to say was, I like your interpretation.
this one is my favorite :D
