I didn’t post these earlier because I was feeling a little self-conscious. I caught a video earlier today from someone who said something to the effect of if you start out with the premise that you’re crappy, it takes off the pressure of trying to be amazing, and the more you draw, the less crappy you’ll get… or… something like that. I know it’s not super-profound, but in a way, I still need to hear these little encouragements to prod myself to continue to draw. It’s like how basketball is a game of confidence: if you make a turnover or a bad play, there’s always another play to redeem yourself.
