I’m happy to announce that the Punching Pandas are now on Redbubble! Now you can have your favorite panda art on a hoodie, a phone case, a mug, and even a duvet cover! I also included some of my other non-panda art on Redbubble which you can browse in the “Nolen Lee Art” section. Don’t forget to click the “Follow” link so you can get updates when a new product is uploaded.
I will still have my own site store running on this site, but I’m transitioning it to only carry original art and special pieces; you can access links to both stores under the “Shop” menu in the header. Make sure to check back every now and then for new products and updates. Cheers!
Yesterday, I posted my appearance for Fan Expo Canada in Toronto during Labor Day weekend for my Canadian audience. Today is for my fellow ‘MURICANS. I will be tabling at the Rose City Comic Con down in my hometown of Portland at Table D-10! In addition, I am opening up pre-commission slots for those of you attending RCCC. If you are interested in an ink commission, the starting prices for a single character with minimal background are as follows:
5×7 – $30 USD
8×10 – $45 USD
11×17 – $100 USD

After your request has been approved, I will send you my Paypal info and will start on the commission when I receive payment. Hey folks! I’ll be doing a speaking event at the Kinokuniya Bookstore at the Seattle Uwajimaya on Saturday at 2pm. I’ll be sharing about my journey as an artist and giving a live drawing demo. Hey Seattle, it’s that time of year again! Yup, it’s time for the Emerald City Comicon! This one holds a special place in my heart as it was the first con that I ever attended, and it’s the first one that I tabled at! This year I will be featuring in the Artists Alley again at Table K9, and I’m also pleased to announce that will have an original piece that will be featured in the Monsters and Dames art book benefitting the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

NO:
Porn, sexual activity, lewd content, explicit nudity or gore.
Mimicking another artist’s style or hyper-realism.
Anything not consistent with the Punching Pandas brand or character.
Promotion of brands, organizations, religions, etc.
If I’m uncomfortable with the subject matter, I reserve the right to refuse the commission.
Fan art, original art, video game art, all kinds of art!
Prices
All prices are for a single character with a minimal or no background. Prices are subject to change depending on the complexity of the character. These prices are for ECCC pre-commissions and ECCC commissions only.
OPTION 1: 11×17 color giclee print on archival paper – starting at $80 USD, additional characters – starting at $30 USD each.
OPTION 2: 9×12 BW sumi ink original with wash on watercolor paper – starting at $45 USD; for color, add $10; additional characters – starting at $15 USD each.
OPTION 3: 5×7 BW sumi ink original with wash on watercolor paper – starting at $25 USD; for color, add $5; additional characters – starting at $10 USD each.
Once I receive your email, I will confirm within 24 hours with your position on the list. If I accept your commission request, I’ll send you my PayPal information, and I’ll begin work once I’ve received payment. Also, let me know which day you plan on picking up your piece so I can keep an eye out for you!
Hey everyone, I have a cool project that I can finally share! My friend Sandy Allnock and I recently finished a collaboration based on our visit to the Daniel Smith store in Seattle where we had the privilege of seeing how watercolors are made. After our tour, Sandy and I created a special video presentation of the watercolor-making process for Ellen Hutson’s YouTube channel where I was able to illustrate the process with my pandas. You can see the timelapse footage of the paintings in the video below.
I also created a poster of all of the pandas and a print of the paint panda in the featured image above. You can check out the panda poster and the paint panda print on my shop which are on sale until the end of March!
